KIIT University or Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology University, Bhubaneswar, was incepted in 1997. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE, and has acquired university status granted by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. On account of its outstanding performance in education and training, it has entered the Limca Book of Records as the youngest University in the country.
Educational Streams
The academic programs at KIIT are approved by statutory bodies of the Government of India such as All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Medical Council of India (MCI), Dental Council of India (DCI) and Bar Council of India (BCI) as applicable. Several of its programs have been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC) of the University Grant Commission (UGC).
