Andhra Pradesh Education Board has published DIET CET Hall Tickets 2010.
Applications in the prescribed form are invited for Common Entrance test (CET) for selection of candidates for admission into two year Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) offered in Government District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) and in Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions in the State during the academic years 2010 - 2011. 1. Academic Qualifications:
The candidates who have passed Intermediate Examination of Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or its equivalent examination recognized by Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh with 45% of marks are eligible. In case of SC, ST and Physically Challenged candidates with 40% of marks are eligible. Intermediate Vocational Course candidates are not eligible.
The candidates who have appeared for Intermediate Examination or its equivalent exam during March / April 2010 are also eligible to apply for DIET CET-2010 entrance examination subject to condition that they should produce their pass certificate at the time of admission counseling. The Candidates who studied SSC/Inter in the medium concerned (Telugu or Urdu or Tamil) or who studied Telugu or Urdu or Tamil as 1st Language in SSC or its equivalent or who studied as one of the above Languages in Part – II in Intermediate are eligible for the seats in concerned

Hyundai i10 Electric Car, Hyundai India launches Zero emission car

Hyundai Auto has launched the new version of its i10 car in New Delhi at the ongoing Auto Expo. The Korean auto giant made public the electric version of its compact car 'i10'.

The Hyundai i10 Electric is a production ready model with zero emissions that will go on sale on the company's home market in the second half of 2010.

The Hyundai i10 Electric is powered by a 49kW electric motor that's powered by a 16kWh battery. With this drivetrain, the Hyundai i10 Electric has a range of around 100 miles and a top speed of 80 mph. The Hyundai i10 Electric can be re-charged in two ways: with a 220V household current which is slower or with a 415V industrial-strength current which is quicker. Under the quick cycle, the battery can be recharged to within 85 percent of its capacity within 15 minutes. Under the normal cycle using a 220V household current, 100 percent power will be attained within five hours.
