GUJCET 2010 Entrance Exam Dates Application Forms Eligibility Admission Notification

Gujarat Common Entrance Test(GUJCET) is conducted by Gujrat Education Board for admission to undergraduate engineering, medical and pharmacy courses in the various institutes in Gujarat. A large number of students apply for GUJCET every year for admission to these courses. GUJCET is only open to the candidates who belong to Gujarat. Admission to all the courses is based on GUJCET as well as class 12th exams.

GUJCET is conducted in three languages: English, Hindi & Gujarati. GUJCET Entrance has 4 papers:Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics. Candidates who want to apply for engineering need to appear for the papers of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. Candidates who want to apply for Medical & Pharmacy have to appear for Physics, Chemistry & Biology papers.

Eligibility Criteria:

A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2010 can also apply. Also the candidates need to have done their 12th from a Gujarat school. There is relaxaton for employees/officers of Gujarat Government in other states.

Important Dates(Tentative):

Application forms availability:January Last week, 2009.
Last date of submission of application form: February 2nd week, 2010
Date of Entrance Examination (CET): April 2nd week, 2010

Forms for GUJCET are available in designated schools in various cities of Gujaratwhich are under Gujrat Education Board.

Pattern of Examination:

The entrance test will consist of 4 papers:

Physics:40 questions-1 hour
Chemistry:40 questions-1 hour
Mathematics:40 questions-1 hour
Biology:40 questions-1 hour
